Tax return ???

hi there,, ok well my dad got his tax retuen for his job i huess, but theres this other tax return where some money comes for the kids in the family or wahtever, well what is it called, federal tax?? and i heard they come depending on your social security number, like the last four digits, is there a site where it cna tell me when our tax retuen will come???? plzzz help,

Uh, forget the "our" - it's your dad's, not yours.  And he won't get anything extra because he claimed a 17 year old either.

It won't come to you, it will come to your dad assuming he is claiming you as a dependent.  (I'm assuming by your grammer and spelling that you are a child)

Your dad will be receiving a 'Economic Stimulus Rebate"

A return will not come "a refund" will.  Return is what is filed with the IRS and a refund is issued when one overpaids the taxes.

If you didn't work, you don't get the rebate.  Your dad will get it if he is eligible, and he'll get extra money for you as a dependent if he claimed you and if you were under 17 as of Dec 31st.  But the money is dad's, not yours, if that is the case.

If you're were 17 by Dec. 31st, there was not anything included for you as a dependent.  Ask your dad.  I'm sure he knows.
