Tax stimulus check earlier than expected?

just curious - has anyone in the 50's, filed tt, paid fees out of refund - get a check yet? i have a friend who's ss is 28, and according to the "schedule" her check should have gone out by 5/30 but she got a letter stating it would go out by 6/6. are they running late now?

no my last two are 28 also and i am right on schedule.  my check is supposed to go out 6/6.

I haven't got the letter but the where's my stimulus tool told me how much and that I'd be getting it on 6/13....#46.....you should be on that same Friday. Have you checked the website to find out the info? I actually got mine 2 weeks before the schedule mail date.....I think they are on schedule...Different factors for everyone.....Only the IRS knows if they are running late or not....They certainly won't tell us!!!

18-25 is scheduled for May 30, according to the schedule (see http://www.irs.gov/irs/article/0,,id=180... )  

26-38 is scheduled for June 6, so it sounds like her payment is right on schedule, not late.
