Taxation in australia???

I will be moving to australia from Ireland in Feb '09. I will be working as a registered nurse in perth and will be on a salary of $49,500. Can anyone tell me what amount I can expect to take home after tax etc on a monthly basis?

i am guessing that your income will be around $950 a week so they will tax about $180 out of that leaving you $770.  you can go to the tax website to make sure.
