Taxation!!??????????

Question

Do you think rich should pay a higher percentage than the poor? If so, what is rich? What is poor?

Rich people do pay disprortionally high taxes, but then again they have high powered attorneys who are far more able to hide income and find tax breaks (or just take it to Luxembourg in a suitcase which apparently happens a lot!)

I wish the tax system would be returned to the way it was under Clinton and Gingrich.

Anybody who says our country wasn't better off then is living in a dreamland.

Truly, rich people do not pay taxes or they wouldn't be rich - remember way back when Nelson Rockefeller. at the time one of the richest men tin the world and Governor of NY - newspapers made a big deal out of how Rockefeller didn't owe any taxes but he was donating 25 grand.  Loop holes, off shore and good tax lawyers.  Only working folk pay true taxes.
