  1. Ruby wax (t.v), Steve Robinson(boxer) Mike Gatting (cricket) Lyn Parson (radio) Heather mills (?) KLF (pop) Lofty (eastenders) Mike champion (sports radio) Dennis Healy (politician)

I used to be a driver in London and we had the BBC contract so used to pick them people up. Ruby Wax travelled a whole 400 yards, Bone idle. Steve Robinson insinuated I wanted his autograph when I asked him to sign my chitty, Didn't even know who he was until afterwards! Dennis Healy decides to, having drove him to Ham and opening the door for him, run his fingers through my hair like your dad would do when you were a kid, I was 22 yrs old!

  2. I once met Lionel Blair the dancer and he was such an arrogant person .... all that dancing must have gone to his head...the nicest famous person I have met would be Geff Capes..the strong man...he was so calm and peaceful.... a cracking example of how celebrities should act

  3. I used to work as a Sports Therapist in football and my son is a footballer, so have met many footballers and managers.  Most of the Arsenal team of mid nineties (Tony Adams, Wrighty, Lee Dixon, Paul Merson and David Seamen) to name a few.  All really nice down to earth guys.  Also met Sir Geoff Hurst, Martin Peters and Gordon Banks (all a bit standoffish) Ray Wilkins, great guy.  Steve Coppell (OK but wouldn't go out of my way to speak to him)

  4. I run a water garden centre in Hull and John Prescott has been in here on several occasions (usually with his wife, Pauline).

She is usually flamboyant and talkative but John tends to keep himself to himself and not say much.

I'll say this though - he looks a lot younger in real life than on TV and he's not as chubby as you suspect.

  5. My dad worked in the garage on Park Lane, London, and former PM Margaret Thatcher's hubby Dennis gave him a bottle of whisky at Christmas.

Former Brookside and Royle Family actress Sue Johnstone use to come into the shop I work in, until she moved.

  6. Worked in a bank and served a few well-known actors.

Most were just like everyday folk, and they certanly didn't look like they do on the screen and magazines.

But one actor, he was raging, and took his anger out on me. Not nice. His actress wife was a lot nicer.

  7. My wife has served Joe Pascuali in Holland and Barrett where she worked once and she said he was very polite and quiet.

  8. I once worked for Kwik Save many years ago and was stocking the shelves one day when a huge black man approached me and asked for help in finding the milk. I couldn't believe my eyes, I had to look twice.

The customer? The brilliant West Indies cricketer, Sir Clive Lloyd. He was a very well spoken articulate man and very polite, we had a quick chat about cricket and he wished me well. He even gave me his autograph. A fabulous gentleman.

  9. met dave hill from slade, we had to do a credit agreement, so i needed a form of I.D. he said "dont you know who i am?"

he went and fetched his id!!!!
