Taxi Fare, McCarron to Luxor?

Hi, what would be the approximate taxi fare from Vegas McCarron airport to the Luxor please?

It's only 3 1/2 miles and should cost your $12 plus tip. Nothing more.

Why don't you just spend the $10 and take the shuttle from McCarran to the Luxor? That $10 is a round trip.................. they take you back as well............... this way it is paid for upfront and you don't need to worry about finding a way to the airport when you are leaving!!!

Its very close. It might partially depend on traffic, and if your drivers takes a "long" route.

I know from the airport to Excalibur it is right at $10, so to Luxor it would probably be about $8 or $9 because it is slightly closer to the airport.

Well- it looks like they have added a fuel surcharge recently and according to http://www.taxifarefinder.com/main.php?c... the cost of the ride would be about $15 including tip.  It is about $13.50 without tip.

The breakdown:

Initial fare- $3.30

Add. Metered fare- $8.97

Surcharges- $1.20

Tip- $1.84
