Taxi Ride Riddle. Can you solve it?

A taxi driver was called to take a group of passengers to the train station. The station is normally an hour away, but with traffic being extra heavy, it took a full hour and a half. On the return trip the traffic was still as heavy and yet it took only 90 minutes. Why?

  3. The traffic was still as heavy but not in the return trip direction.  On the way home you are traveling on the opposite side of the rode.

  4. Because he was on metric time on the way back!

  5. 90 mins is the same as 1 1/2 hours

  6. but 90 min is the same as a full hour and a half so i dont get it  

  7. an hour is 60 minutes  half of an hour is 30 minutes  60 plus 30  is ninety....  so it took the same amount of time

  8. 90 min is 1.5 hrs
