Taxi from london to glasgow?

im just curious as to how much a taxi would cost

say from a local company not one of those hackney carriages as those would charge a fortune

Omg. don't do it!!

it would cost a LOT

lets just say, i get a taxi everyday for a mile, and it costs £6.

to get to glasgow from london it would cost maybe nearly £1000, if not more.

If you really wanted to go by car, you could hire one from a company such as hertz.

Or you could get a train, or a coach.

London to Glasgow in a taxi is going to cost a fortune no matter which taxi company you use!  That's a very long way.  You'd be better off flying or taking the train.  

Did you by chance mean Gatwick airport?  If so, that's a whole 'nother story.
