Taxi prices in uk!!!!!!!!!?

we are heading to birmngham to go see a show, one of the days there,but the taxi ride is 40 mins,just checking to see if we would be better off seening if there is a train.would anyone know how much it would cost? there is 3 of us travelling.thanks!!

You guys pay $9 a gallon for gas. Of corse train!!!

It depends where you're travelling from and who you're travelling with...

A 40 min taxi ride can cost anything from £30-100.

Check your train prices too, it may turn out cheaper/quicker.

I would say the train. Taxis are expensive.

Look on www.thetrainline.co.uk for train ticket prices. And try ringing a few mini cab companies from your area

Where are you staying if you're 40 minutes away from the centre? And where are you heading? The Rep, NIA, NEC?

If it's the NEC, that's nowhere near the city centre anyway- it's attached to the airport.

Also, why has the other poster posted a load of facts about London's cabs? You clearly said Birmingham...
