Taxi transfer prices from Ibiza airport to Es Cana?

Question

Can anyone give me a realistic price for a taxi from Ibiza airport to Es Cana? It's about 28km and my flight times are during the day, in May. Any ideas?

During the day in May you shouldn't have a problem getting a taxi you are looking at about 30 - 35€ depending upon the taxi (it shouldn't be different but it is), there is a bus service to Sta Eularia although I am not sure how early in may they intend to start this year, from there you can get a bus to Es Cana.  Probably your best bet is to get a private transfer but a word of warning - make sure you have a contact number for them for if they aren't there or otherwise you may be getting a cab anyway!!

The link below for Airport taxis, would seem to indicate that there is a minimum charge of 3.06euros and then an additional rate of 0.92euros per km.   For a journey of 28kms the price would therefore be 28.84euros (£23.00 approx).  If I was to choose this method of transfer, I would check with the driver before getting in.

There appears to be a bus (No.24) which runs between Es Cana and the Airport, but no further detail is given on this site.

A Company that I have used for transfers, and which you book on line, is "Shuttledirect" and they are giving the fare for the journey as £11.98 per person each way.  This would normally be in a minibus or small coach, and I would certainly recommend them.   They come out cheaper than the Transfer Store and Resorthoppa (the latter whose price is almost twice as dear!)

Addition - JoJo(below) has quoted you a private transfer with Shuttledirect at £11.96 per person, but this is providing the party is made up of 4 people.  For 2 it's £23.91 each and for 1 person the price would be £47.83.

All prices quoted above for Shuttledirect can change slightly depending on the exchange rate of the day.

I have been looking at the prices too for transfer from Ibiza airport to Es Cana as I am going end of July.

The best prices I found was £11.96 pp for a PRIVATE transfer.

Strangely for a shuttle service it was £12.13!

A private service is a car that is solely for your party and takes you direct to the hotel.

By the way, I'm staying the Caribe Hotel and it will be my first trip to this particular resort.  Its apparently a lovely resort.

It will cost about 35 Euros if Seville prices are anything to go by.
