Hi, I ll be landing at SYD airport at 10pm. Can I get taxi from airport at night to CUMBERLAND STREET, Sydney(City) ?

  1. I agree however, it is a stretch to say the majority of cab drivers are not honest, some definately are not but I think most are. I would reccomend if you see a "Silver" cab (cab is a nicer looking car and are always silver) I would definately jump in that one, that company takes much more pride in their jobs, all drivers are friendly and knowledgable. THe trip from the airport to cumberland is fairly direct, a motorway will take you most of the way into the city, the distance from the moroway off ramp to cumberland is not that far, although a little fiddly by car because of one way streets, and so forth.  20 - 25 dollars i think probably less would be my best guess. Less because not as much traffic on the roads at that time of night.

       The hirer must pay all road, bridge, ferry, tunnel and airport tolls that apply to the journey.


  2. Yes you can. But it would be best if you can check out what route you need to travel.  Not many taxi drivers are honest and will take you the long way.  You will be looking to pay about $20 au for the trip.
