Check out the link and it will let you know when the program will air again. This only reconfirms that providing assistance to people only makes them weaker. There were people on here who lived at the projects for 40+ years. Great documentary.
No one should ever be reliant on the government for anything, yet these people have been getting "affordable" housing for decades.
I'm a taxpayer and pay alot for rent, not because I can afford it but because I have to.
On a side note: My friend who has 2 children under 3 yrs of age, went to apply for housing at the HUD office. The lady that worked there told her there were 2 different vouchers, one expiring in 2 weeks, and one starting in 2 weeks. My friend was told the one starting in 2 weeks was for African-Americans Only. Reverse that situation, and it would've made the national news. Go Figure
