Taylor haters?

Come on guys, you have to give it to Taylor. The only thing you said would happen that actually did happen is that Taylor lost. But all this jargon about 6th round knock out, kelly getting him in the ropes, Taylor not blocking punches, Taylor not having the stamina.. it all turned out to be hogwash. Taylor took pavlik though more rounds than he has ever been though in his pro career and ended his K.O streak.

I watched the fight from a large sports bar and even though Taylor lost all us were still very pleased with his performance. Amazing to see the difference between the last fight and this one. We can only hope Taylor stays with Nelson, high dollar coaches are just that.. high dollar and nothing else.

Victory to Pavlik, moral victory to Taylor. Even though I am a Taylor fan and he fought a h**l of a fight I am happy with the outcome, it would have been stupid to scar pavliks perfect record over such a close fight. The judges made the same call at Taylor/Hopkins 1

I think that every older boxer steps n the ring with something to prove, for example when Oscar fought pretty boy he was proving that he still had it I believe Taylor was just trying to prove that ......he proved it ...I box and sometimes when I win off decision I FEEL LIKE a pavlik fighter and when I have victory of a K.O. I feel like a J.Taylor fighter so u get where I'm going lol..

I was actually pulling for Taylor but I kind of figured he had no shot going into this fight.  I mean Pavlik took his best last time and still got up and knocked him out.  Pavlik is to technically sound for a guy like Taylor.  I'm telling you right now whoever beats Pavlik is someone that has to have a devastating left hook,  that's what I think you need to beat him.  He'll just crowd your right hand making you eat jabs and right crosses and if you ain't got a left hook to get him off then Pavlik will win.

I am a pavlik fan.the reason there was no knock out is the fact that neither boxer was going for a knock out.this might be just my opinion but this fight looked more tactical than the first.high dollar coaches are high dollar because they work.you cant base the coach's career on the outcome one fight.the fight wasn't that close i have watched it twice since the first time and pavlik won the fight hands down,Taylor throw some combos that looked good but not many of his punches landed.

Hey I dislike Taylor immensly, I don't think he EVER deserved the belts in the first place. Hopkins put it to his azz the first fight and Taylor got the decision. Their 2nd fight was closer but I still feel that Hopkins sqeaked it out. I dont believe he has the heart of a champ, he looks scared in the ring. The only time he has showed raw talent and killer instinct was vs Pavlik in the 1st fight. But that lasted all of 20 seconds. He should have let his hands go with reckless abandon after Pavlik got up. CHAMPIONS FINISH-TAYLOR DOESN'T

I'm a huge Pavlik fan and will give all the credit in the world to Taylor.  He fought a harder fight then I expected and I was a bit nervous throughout the fight.

I was impressed and happy for Jermaine he is still not in great shape but, I thought he was going to get murdered today but he took all of Kelly's punches and just kept coming great fight for two of my favorites.

i dont see where all the taylor back patters are coming from,wasnt taylor the next superstar who was the first to beat hopkins in a decade. and before the taylor fight ,pavlik was just a overrated bald white guy ,who beat a couple of other overrated fighters,taylor was suppose to destroy him.now after pavlik destroyed taylor in the first fight,taylor and taylor fans are satisfyed with him not getting his butt kicked as bad as the first time,and proud of it. i think taylor is a good fighter and it was just pavlik was better ,but when fighters are happy with not getting beat as bad as the last time they arent great fighters anymore,i dont see taylor being a legitamate champion again.this should not be any kind of moral victory for taylor.
