  1. Os2 = 100%

Don't even bother looking at the wilson if you can get the OS2's. I have changed from OS2 to blades, but if I'm not playing that well I still get them out and play a round.

Best High/Mid Handicapper clubs on market.

  2. I have to agree,  the OS2's are awesome, no contest between them and the wilsons.

  3. I have the Wilson staff di5 and I love them. They give me more distance than I have ever had before with irons. I have never tryed the os2 but i'm sure they are great because taylormade made them anything is good in top brands.

  4. Not so fast....I'm wondering just how many of these people actually played the Wilsons??  Be careful, as many will automatically scream for the TaylorMades since they have the larger market share and is the s**y name brand, and Wilson is known more for tennis gear and cheap Wal-Mart specials.  But all of those Wilson Staff clubs can give the major brands a run for their money; ask this same question at any reputable golf forum, and many will agree. Wilson is one of the most underrated companies out there.

Over the past 2 years, I've been in search of "the perfect set", and have tried Pings, Titleists, 2 sets from TaylorMade (including the OS2), and Wilson. Guess which one never made its way to eBay, and is sitting in my bag right now?

Granted, in golf, people are going to like different clubs, but having tried both brands, I can confidently say that the Wilsons are as long and as forgiving as the TaylorMades, at a better value.

    Good luck with your choice.

in reply to "Paul C" above: the Di7 is a lot different from the Di5...

With the Di7, Wilson went the "super game-improvement" route with the ultra-low center of gravity that many other club makers are going to. That was not was Wilson was going for in the Di5.

Besides, just because you "couldn't wait to hand them back", that doesn't mean they are not good clubs. Golf Digest, who I trust a little more than some dude in Germany,  rated the Di7 the best irons in the super game-improvement category, over Taylors, Callaways, Pings, Mizunos, etc.

I'm not saying that the Di5s are necessarily better than the OS2s...But I'm sure it would fit some people better. For the record, I kept my OS2s for about 6 weeks before selling on eBay, so what's your point?

    Have a good one.
