  1. A great effort for one so young. I hope she keeps at it. An interesting quote, though if it were to happen would prefer they play Kenya.

  2. Wow! That's a great victory for England. And I must say it was a commendable performance from Sarah Taylor, as her knock of 75* made her the youngest cricketer to cross the margin of 1000 runs in women's cricket. Her innings steered England to an easy 10 wicket victory.

Sad about India's dismal performance though! It was an absolutely poor show from our players. Would have loved it, if India had won. Anyway, full credits to the England team,

I do agree with the comment. Certainly the better teams in women's cricket are good enough to tackle the inferior ones in that of men's . It's indeed necessary for all women cricket teams, to play a few matches against their male counterparts. That would substantially increase their exposure, and improve their skills. Even if they lose, they can learn much from such matches. This reminds me of Chak de India, where the women's hockey team was challenged to play against that of the men's but to the surprise of everyone, the girls did give a very good fight, which ultimately impressed all.

  3. England women playing Zimbabwe & Kenya Men?

Nooooo. England women might be good among the women teams. But playing men is different proposition, Physically, the brawny men always dominate the fairer s*x.

  4. that was a good win. i only read about it
