three different places in the process.
After the game, the Swansea manager, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Michael-c25261 Laudrup, had revealed that the nature of his injury was pretty severe, and he could be out of action for a considerable period of time.
Taylor was rushed immediately to the hospital, where he underwent a surgery.
The Head physio, Kate Rees, has confirmed that the extent of the injury was ‘serious’, but nonetheless revealed that the operation went well.

“He is comfortable and the surgeons are happy with the operation. While he should make a full recovery, the extent of the injury means Neil is likely to miss the rest of the season.”
Taylor’s omission is likely to prove as a big setback for Laudrup, given his inspirational presence in the rearguard. After signing for the Swans in September 2010, the 23-year played an important role in helping his side ascend into the Premier League.
Last season, he was one of the star players in Brendan Rodgers unit, and even emerged in the rumours of his possible move to Manchester United.
He also represented Great Britain in the recently concluded Olympic Games in London.
Meanwhile, Laudrup went on to unravel his disappointment over losing the left-back for the entire term, but refused to pin the blame on Gardner for the unfortunate event.
He explained that normally the injuries of such nature emerge as a result of a malicious tackle, but felt that in this case, it was just an ‘unlucky’ accident.
“You see things that are much more violent than that - this was not violent, it was unlucky. He was very unlucky to fall in a bad way, you can't blame the Sunderland player for that,” he said.
