  1. saying it is stiffer is probably a bit of a simplification. It probably is a stiffer shaft but it will alswo have a different kick point. i.e. the point of flex in the shaft will probably be closer to the grip which will encourage a lower more penetrating flight where as the other shaft will have a kick point closer to the head which aill help to get the ball airborne a little easier. he paint thing is pretty staright forward carefully do it yourself is the easy solution. You could then do it any colour you fancy

  2. The tour means you have a little stiffer shaft. less flex in it than the plus. Which can be good if you have lots of club head speed but not if you have slower speed.

As for the paint, if it is still under warranty you can get it done by taylor made. I would suggest you go to local golf centre if they make clubs or repair they can redo the head so it looks like new. But at a cost to you.

  3. The TP shaft is stiffer and has a higher kick point so you should hit the ball a little lower/more pentrating flight.  Not sure where the logo is?  If it is on the bottom of the club, it will probabl just wear off again so don't bother.  If you mean on top of the club local shop can touch up for a small fee.  I wouldn't bother shipping all the way back to Taylor for a little cosmetic touch up.

  4. No you cannot return it just because of the paint (and it is not affecting your play).

TP (Tour Preferred) means for faster swinger and lower ball flight.   not recommended if you are a beginner.
