  1. 2 STROKE  IN LUBRICATES THE ENGINE

IN FOR STROKES IT WILL SMOKE ALOT

  2. If you have a 2 stroke engine in your SeaDoo, it is essential that you use a 2 Cycle oil that is TCW3 rated.  This oil is formulated for WATER COOLED 2 CYCLE engines and it has additives that prevent the detergents in gasoline from washing out its lubricating properties.  DO NOT use any other 2 stroke oil or you will risk damaging your engine.

If your engine is a 4 stroke, do not use TCW3  oil in the crankcase, use normal HD multi-viscosity oil according directions in your owners manual.

  3. It is stating that you NOT use regular TWC-3 rated 2 cycle oil, it is requiring you use Seadoo's OEM 2 cycle oil designed for your PWC.

The core reason behind this requirement is Seadoo's oil injection system requires the OEM 2 cycle oil specifically designed for it to function correctly.  Failure to use Seadoo OEM 2 cycle oil for your PWC will result in premature oil injection system failure and probably engine failure very shortly aftewards.

I do not foresee any major lubrication dangers if the oil injection system has not failed yet.  However, its a good idea to get your PWC checked out because of this.

This is the similiar reason why only Mercury/Quicksilver DFI 2 cycle oil must be used on Mercury Optimax 2 stroke outboards.   This will burn up one of these outboards fast if the wrong type of 2 cycle outboard oil is used.

So in short, drain out the TWC-3 put in your PWC's oil tank and put Seadoo OEM 2 cycle oil that is designed for your PWC.  You might want to have your PWC's looked over as well by a Seadoo tech completely to make sure no permenant damage to the engine or damage to the oil injection system.
