.....Tea Timer exe.?.....doesn't respond?

Question

....when I hit the icon for the computer to shut itself down...when the tea timer exe. process comes up ...it doesn't respond and I have to manually end it.....slightly irritating and I'm wondering what exactly that process does....I can't think of anything that I have done to effect this process......when I updated Lavasoft....my Spybot icon disappeared with my realtime protection......I don't know where IT went......so I made the decision to just uninstall Lavasoft as I need my Spybot more.....that's when my tea timer decided to stop responding at shut down.......any ideas?......it is still listed on my processes when I looked at the Task Manager......
