Question:

Teach English in Florence?

I'm an ESOL teacher in England. I have 6 years experience and fully qualified. I would like to relocate to Italy for a year or so and was wondering if Florence was the right place to do so.

Do you know of any institutes that provide ESOL there? Are there any complications regarding living there? Is the pay enough to live with?

I'm also a novelist, so would like to work flexi hours to spare time to write and travel too.

Many thanks in advance.

  2. Check out TEFL.com and

    TIEONLINE.com

the first is free but the 2nd requires a fee.

You have an advantage because all the jobs in italy say "European national preferred"  The jobs don't look like they pay well to me, but maybe there are chances to work extra hours or pick up some private students.
