  1. Glance around you casually to see how other people are doing things. See who looks classy, or who is making a fool of themselves. If there's a lot of silverware, you generally work from the outside in, like with forks. Sit up straight, don't put your elbows on the table, and don't talk with your mouth full. Your napkin should go on your lap right away when you sit down, or at least as soon as the first food item arrives. Don't be too loud, and be polite to the server, and feel free to ask the server questions if you need help. Pretend you are the queen of something, and feel regal, and pay attention to whoever you are with. It can be lots of fun to dress up a little and be waited on and have hopefully really good food.

  2. order somthing thats easy to eat and not sloppy so this way you will look neat try a meal thats not messy lol

  3. Salad fork, knife and soup spoon are further from the main plate than the main course knife, fork and spoon. Dessert utensils are either placed above the main plate with the handle pointing to the left or served with dessert.

Salt and pepper are always placed together and passed together even if someone only asks for one or the other.

they say to ask to be excused before leving but me i just do everything before so i dont have to leave during the meal

try not to start coughing, sneezing or blowing nose at the table.

    .

Do not make loud or unusual noises while eating.

  4. Aside from the great tips shared above:

    General rules:

    * dress according to the place and clientele the

restaurant cater to (tip : most restaurants'

websites provide info on their suggested

dress code, if they don't then I'd recommend

       casual but tasteful)

    * turn off your cellphone (wherever you are, it's

ill-mannered to have it on when dining)

    * IF you need to, re-touch make-up or do your

      face IN the Restroom

    * chew with your mouth closed

    *don't SLURP

*unless, you have some sort of medical problem

like acidity and burping is a problem, be

prepared to either excuse yourself and exit to

the restroom before it comes or have your

napkin ready to at least cover your mouth to

lessen the sound (excuse me, follows, of

    course)

I am sure you'll be fine.

Just remember all those things about fine manners.

    P.S.

You can probably find some tips and insights on fine dining etiquette online.
