Teacher's of Behavioral and Emotionally disabled children.?

Question

Hi, what was your first year of teaching like. I mean, I have a classroom like this now and I am ready to have an emotional breakdown. I get hurt everyday. They run up and down the halls. They get each other to do things. They have learned nothing since the beginning of the year because they won't sit down even. I have a level system and rewards, so that is not the problem. I am just at my wits end. Was your first year like this?
