I have a teacher that i was close to my freshmen year. I am in tenth grade now and I am going to a new school. I worte her a poem ta tell er how I felt. She keeps asking me if I am leaving two weeks ago It had ta be her third time askin me bout it. I had my frend ta ask er some questions because she has been kinda actin funny lately in starting a convo Etc... I told my friend that she is kinda like my mom in a since. I even worte it in my poem but i just wanted it ta rhyme. He told her and she said she wish i would stop tellin her that cause she is to young ta be a mother and she has a baby. I didnt want my friend ta tell er that it was a accident. I went up there today and she acted regular. I dont know what to do should I keep in touch wtih her of not. If I do keep in touch with her should it be by email or phone. P.s : could it be the reason why she is actin like that is because she is going to miss me.

  1. I've been close to alot of my students, and I run into them often.  I always like to hear what they've been doing.

You can keep in touch with your teacher through e-mail.  Or you can send her a card every now and then; she'll probably appreciate it.

Just don't go overboard.  She would rather see you spend your time developing other relationships.  It will be fine.  Even though I'm retired, I still see my (really) old teachers now, and I always enjoy chatting with them, when I run into them -- I just don't seek them out.

But, again, when I run into a student, it always pleases me that they remember me.

  2. Maybe, but students do leave every year, and most teachers don't get really weird about students leaving.  Sorry to say this, but it seems more likely to me that she thinks you have crossed the line a little and have become a little too close to her.  She might like being a favorite teacher, but telling her she is like a mom to you might make her think that she needs to back off a little.  Stay in touch, and I would do so by email, but don't overwhelm her.  Maybe after you have been at your school for a few months, you can let her know how things are going, then send a Christmas card or something.  I'm still in touch with a lot of my old students, but I usually hear from them a couple of times a year, not constantly, like you would perhaps with your parents.

  3. I would keep in touch by email. Maybe she is going to miss you a lot so thats why she is acting irregular.

  4. sounds like a couple lezzos wantin to do each other with a double sided d***o.

  5. im confused???
