What happens when a teacher (athletic director) beats up a student in Massachusetts?

Ok soo there my boyfriend(16 yrs old) and i were walking down the hall in April or Late march and this teacher came. He approached my Bf in a weird way and was like stop walking and come over here, i wanna talk alone...

I asked my boyfriend if he wanted me to wait and he said its fine and to go ahead, so i did. This teachers office was right up the stairs so i went up there to his office to wait because i was concern for my BF. But they never came upstairs...

This teacher took him down the hall where there are no cameras and to the gudience cousolors office where there are no windows. My boyfriend refused to sit downa nd the teacher pushed him down. Then my Bf stood up again and the teacher punched him in the face 2 times. My Bf told him to stop and get the f**k off, but he didn't. The teacher swore back at him.

Again, he tried to get up and the teacher grabbed him by his shirt and threw him over the desk. Finally my boyfriend pushed the teacher into a wall and ran out. Other students were outside the class and came to tell me that the teacher beat my Bf.

When my bf got outside to leave (14) police crusier were waiting for him to arrest him for hitting the teacher. The teacher said my bf hit him and he never touched him. They are now going to court and they wont let my bf go back to school.

Even the police & court said he can but the prinicpal said he cannot

IS ANY OF THIS LEGAL? AND WHAT CAN I DO TO HELP

LIKE LAW WISE ... I WANNA HELP WITH THE CASE AND GET HIM BACK TO SCHOOL ASAP!

  1. Go you court say it loud and proud I saw the whole thing the teacher Hit my Man cause he thought He can.Go to court and be a witness for your BF.

  2. Why didn't he just sit down? It would have saved everyone a lot of trouble.

I'm not trying to anger you or anything, but I have a feeling this story might be bias, but either way you can't do much to help him out with anything specifically besides stating the truth and allowing the defense attorney to do his job (they are the experts, I recommend that you consult with one).

  3. He needs to go to a physician and get any injuries such as bruises and lacerations documented for court evidence in his favor, and also to ask the physician to document the cause of injury in the medical history.

If it happened in March or April probably too late.   Doesn't your bf have parents??

  4. Two sides to every story. When I hear the other side I will give an opinion. Sounds to me your BF would have been wise to just sit down and shut up if he can't back up his words. I am willing to bet your BF has had problems in the past at school on record.

  5. where are those other students? if they are witnesses, they should have gave their statements to the police, if your bf was punched in the face, there should have been bruises, your bf should have insisted on going to the hospital to be checked for signs of assault, this case could go either way depending on the evidence and the student witnesses.
