Teacher in illiniois possibly moving to Michigan...?

My sister is a teacher in Illinois and possibly moving to Michigan. Before she does her research...does anyone know what needs to be done to be certified to be a teacher in MI...she already has her certification for Illinois. Also, does anyone know of any good schools in the Detroit suburbs?
