Maybe you should start seeing other people. Also, I'm sorry about your loss..Everything Happens for A Reason..always remember that! Cats, or any animals, can be a joy to our lives, and when they dies it feels as if you lost your own family member. My best bet would be to settle down for a while & maybe within the next yr. or so buy yourself a kitty. not saying that it will replace you old cat felix. just think, felix would want u to be happy! There are many different assessment tools that are used by teachers.  A lot of it has to depend on what subject you are going to teach or if you plan to do Special Education.  

Assessments can be classified in many different ways. The most important distinctions are: (1) formative and summative; (2) objective and subjective; (3) referencing (criterion-referenced, norm-referenced, and ipsative); and (4) informal and formal.
