Teacher???

I just finished grade eight, and im going into grade nine at a different school next year. I had a really nice grade 8 english language arts teacher and would like to keep in contact with her. She was quite close to me and one of my favorite teachers because she understood the kids well, liked the same movies, loved poetry and art etc. Well on the last day of school I asked her if she had facebook, and she said she did, but it was on private so she could only talk to her family etc. I searched her name, and nothing came up so i guess it was private lol

So now its summer, and im changing schools, and she is moving to Toronto. I recently stumbled across her profile, after searching for a friend with the same first name. I guess she changed her settings from private to public, because she is moving away, and isnt going to be a teacher anymore.

I really miss this teacher and would like to keep in contact with her. Do you think i should add her as a friend now, now that she changed

  1. yes add her if she don't want 2 talk then she won't but I would still ad her if I was u

  2. Girl, if you want to add her you really should.

Don't worry about being embarassed or anything like stupid like that. A connection you make with somebody isn't worth losing. I'm sure it'll probably even make her smile a bit that you tried so hard to get ahold of her.

  3. Don't take it personally.  Teachers are very private when it comes to online life.   Nobody, especially teachers, wants 180 new online buddies every June - so usually they'll accept those who seek them out and put in the effort to get past the anonymity obstacles.

Wait a month or two for things to cool down, then send her an invite to be your friend.  If she accepts, then you have your answer.

You can also email her to see how things are going over the summer.  Then casually mention that you'd still really like to keep in touch with her via facebook.

  4. I think get in  contact so anyway I forgot what your talking about but anyway,,,, add her!!
