I was just wondering because lately i've been hearing all of these stories about teachers getting like attacked by students. And then the third grade class who planned on like killing there teacher! I mean its crazy! And dont get me wrong im not like the goody goody kid who thinks everything is bad, im just the normal kid who talks all the time and only turns in my work half the time. And I dont get along with half of my teachers very well but im not gonna attack them! Like just yesterday they told us about a highschool like 20 miles from mine, and the student (freshman) attacked the teacher bc the teacher gave him homework. how g*y is that? And I live in oklahoma which isnt exactly the worst place either. Well anyways my question is are you ever scared to come to school nowadays?

  1. yeah, i know. its ricicioulous. it shouldn't be like this, but things happen anyway. somebody should put it out there that not all kids are like this, this is an exclusive minority within a group of students.

  2. What about students getting killed by students? Isn't that more common? I'm a student and I'm scared as h**l sometimes.

  3. They're only scared of there bosses. My math teacher has a very good story for that. In my school, there are no worries about students attacking teachers.

  4. I worked in inner city school with guns, drugs, gangs, poverty, racism, etc., not once did I feel threatened. Yea, my car got the plates stolen or they stole a part off the car at the beginning of my teaching, but me never. As a matter of fact, I and our school were a sanctuary. I would walk home late sometimes and the kids and families would come out and greet me. Why, respect and dignity that I had for them. I visited their homes, helped out the families. They knew that they could count on me and my colleagues if they needed something. What goes around comes around. I recently retired. I see some of the kids at the mall sometimes. Respect. Kids are basically good. Parents want their kids to learn. We need to respect each other.

  5. Will, if that is truly happening, that just mean that the family life in those areas are slowly shaking, and the weaker the family pillars, the worst the effects of the family members happen to live in that family tree. Question is: who shape up the family tree? That's the reason why there's a saying " Why does John pay all the accounts of Peter?" Sometimes, for no apparent reason, students attack their teachers for something triggers them to do it. And it always has something to do with the way their life has shape-up. We are all products of nature and nurture! What if by nature, it was being tortured and by the nurture stage, also being tortured? You just imagine what kind of life would that be?

  6. Its all propaganda, people have been attacking each other forever the media is just telling us more and more.
