Teachers, how does your school implement vertical and horizontal planning?

Horizontal is usually done at regular meetings within depts, among people who teach the same levels. Sometimes the high schools get together to plan.

Each subject area has what's called a "vertical team." They get together a few times a year. There are also instructional coordinators for each subject area across grade levels.
