Teachers, what was your favorite end of the year gift given to you by a student?

My son's first year of school (pre-school) is ending and he had three fantastic teachers. I'd like to give them each something but I don't know what--even though I taught for many years. lol Any ideas? Thanks!

I'm not a teacher, but i always gave my teachers what they liked, not the stereotypical teacher type of stuff. I got the best teachers gifts award coming out of grade school :). My fifth grade teacher loved cats and collected ornaments so for christmas i got her an ornament with a cat on it. Turns out, it was something she was looking for all year! She loved it! My sixth grade teacher was into hunting and stuff like that so i got him an amo box. It was really big and he loved it. He said it was perfect for putting clay pigeons in. he also liked this book, Uncle Johns Bathroom Reader, so i put one of those in it. He read it to us in class all day that day! He liked it the best because everyone just got him stuff like a paper weight that said teacher and useless stuff like that.

A massage at a local spa is always nice. They can be pricey though, so maybe buy them a 1/2 hour session.

why don't you just write them an email telling them how great they were. you can't put a price on words.
