I am teaching my 3 year old how to write letters. I think that there is a chant or something fun that goes along with forming them so that they can remember how each one is formed...Where can I find it??

  1. This site has a lot of methods of teaching letter formation

    http://www.prekinders.com/letters.htm

    good luck

  2. Just decribe the way you write the letter.

Ex. for "H" say "big line down, big line down, little line across"

for "S" say "big curve, big curve"

Demonstrate writing the letters a few time while decribing them out loud. Then give your child a chance to practice using the same language to decribe as you did. If they have problems you can lightly take their hand in yours and guide them along. Don't try to do too many letters at once. And maybe start with the letters of their name.

    Hope this helps!

  3. words and pictures =] and the magic pen, its brilliant and used at schools all over the country, they have videos, im not sure where you'd get them from but if you were to go and ask at your local primary school. i'm sure they'd tell you.

  4. The Bible , thats the  book for me ect.

Party party  Then spell PARTY . Party party, - PARTY . THEN  Spell YES  and then say yes . you can  do this with most any  chant or  names , of the kids or spelling words. Or  just about anything.
