All grades can respond.

All teachers have valued strengths. Some possess more than others. But all teachers have a particular strength. What strength do you recognize in yourself? What weakness will you be working hard at improving this new school year as a classroom teacher?

  1. Strength - experience, knowledge of subject matter, good rapport with students.

Weakness - continuing to facilitate the learning process rather than expounding. It's sometimes hard to let a student find his/her own path for learning, and to let the student learn by trial and error. It's much easier and faster to just give them the answer.

  2. I am funny, energetic, I know the material but I am open to a student presenting another opinion, and always address the needs of the students.

I am not the most organized teacher, but I try to be more organized in school than I am at home.

    I teach ESL to adults.

  3. Keeping most on task

Being a sucker for a hard luck story
