Teachers-- cute fonts?

When I student taught, my mentor teacher had all these cute fonts (for kindergarten). She didn't know the software name, but some of the fonts had dots on them, and other cute flower things. Also, you could make lines on paper (- - - - - ) with a line above and a line below, so you could print them off for the kinders to write on the lines. Anyone know of any cute downloads (free or cheap?) Thanks!

I've also purchased font programs from craft stores like Michaels or JoAnn Fabrics.

A lot of type artists make their own fonts and upload them there, they are free to download, and there are tons to choose from.

They even have a section for school fonts :)

There is a CD called "Fonts for Teachers."  This CD provides many choices for Kindergarten, including Zaner-Bloser with directional arrows to teach writing.
