Teachers of AP classes: How much harder is it to teach AP than regular?

Students are fighting for more AP classes but some teachers are reluctant. Is it more difficult?

  1. AP which stands for advanced placement essentially means that you've mastered a course well enough that the level of difficulty is on par with a college courses. When you take the AP class and score a 3 or higher on it, then the college of your choice will accept that as a college credit course.  


  2. I hate to say it but it is actually a lot harder to teach. Just be confident in yourself and your abilities. Remember these are mostly kids going to top notch schools so you should expect a lot out of them and don't let them take advantage of you.
