Teachers taking the pee :'(?

Question

Hi, in tech we are making Formula1 racing cars out of templates and mdf. I have cut out all my pieces using a machine, and it's all jagged. I walked over too the table where I had left my pieces that had been cut out while I got something, and I saw that the teacher was holding it and whispering too the other teacher and she was taking the pee out of it saying it looked rubbish. If I sand it down, will it still look as good as my friends? Because there's is really good, but mine looks like a baby could of done a better job.

Sand it down to a pile of dust.

Place dust on teacher's desk.

When you receive an enquiring look, or an outraged comment from your teacher, indicate to the teacher that you "may have gone a little too far, just like when you took the pee out of my previous efforts"

Then blow on the pile to test the aerodynamics...

"Oh, it appears there's not enough downforce, sorry!"

Await the next project and closer attention from your teachers.

How rude, it sounds like your teachers are a right bunch of idiots.  Next time you see your guidance teacher I would bring the subject up.

If your teachers are unwilling to help you I would try and get some tips from your friends.  As long as the jagged bits aren't too big you will get a much nicer and smoother shape by sanding.  

I hope you make the best car out of the group. if it's still jagged you could stick it somewhere which would wipe the smile off your dull teacher's face

Well that teacher sounds like she should be severely reprimanded. They are there to teach you and bolster your self confidence, not to put you down. I'd sand it down if I were you. Wood is not an easy medium for everyone to work with, you should have had more help. I'd leave one bit where when the teacher picks it up so she gets a great big splinter in her finger!!!

You should steal or hide your teachers supplies and try and get them fired.  If you're not doing something right, it's their fault not yours.
