Teachers these days??

i used to have an art and music teacher and they were so cool! their names were ms. kuta and mr. collins. they treated me so nice unlike other teachers at my old school. they were like teenagers....but taller! but anyway, i was havin a great day until math period. =( MS. LUNNEY! she is sooo mean and makes fun of the students. even teachers dont like her! she mocks people and is always rude. why cant teachers be nicer??

I think, it depends on a person. I am a teacher too but all my pupils were always thankful to me and now when they are no longer my pupils, whenever they meet in the street, always say hi and ask how I am doing.

they should be nicer but like all people there is good bad and ugly!!oh well trust me it will prepare you for your own career world!!good luck

Is she single,aged and lonely person?..... or maybe she has least people to show her love.I think she is living in a world of her own and  judgement... she might need someone to pour her love &  attention .

I'm a lecturer .. i do come across some lecturers with similiar attitude.

Try to cope up with these lecturers and  in a way it helps you to be alert on their subjects.

People come in all different kinds, including teachers.  A teacher should not make fun of the students, though.  Don't you think many teachers wish their students would be nicer to them too?

Teachers are just people.  Just like some people are mean and some are nice, some teachers are mean and some teachers are nice.

maybe she is just trying to fit in. sometimes people do that if they want to fit . for example why do people wear clothes that are in fashion instead of tunics to school? it because they want to fit in or feel normal right?. or she is just really stressed out about something , so  give some time and she'll get over it.

For starters, they taught art and music so they have a little more freedom to be cool. Math teachers can be cool, too! I was, but I had cool students - and I wasn't a trained Math teacher, just hired to teach it.

I currently teach English, my true major. I've tried to be cool, but the kids don't respect you. So, I am super strict and God forbid you should step out of line. I like Ms. Lunney (!). She sounds like my kind of teacher. You will no doubt remember her and what she taught you.

Just in case you didn't know, and speaking personally: I am not in the classroom to be liked or hated. I am not there to win popularity contests, either. I have a job to do, and it is important to me that you learn well and do well. Your success is my success.
