Teachers: what is a point 8 teaching position (.8)?

I know this less than full time but how much less?

You get 80% (.8) of a full-time teacher. If a full-time teacher has 5 classes, you would have 4. The administration usually tries to tack on a few extra duties too.

Usually 32 hours per week.  It might be four full days with say Fridays or Mondays off or you might go in at 8 and get off at say 1 instead of after 2.
