How do i go about teaching the clait course, i have already contacted OCR and i fit the criteria, but i dont know how to start off. a local primary school wants me to do it as an evening course

  1. Just get a CLAIT book, some good ones in bookshops, get a syllabus from OCR.

    Write a BRIEF set of lesson plans to hand to school and students. Then teach the lessons.

    A good book is New Clait 2006 in Easy Steps by Sue Price. Other books on Amazon have clait exercises/ activities that you can use with students.

  3. Send your CV in to Adult Community colleges and they will probably interview you.  You could get just one class to begin with and then it builds up.
