Is anyone a tefl teacher or has done any teaching in a foreign country? just wanted to know whats it like and if its hard getting a job?

  1. I have not had any trouble finding work as an ESL (English as Second Language) instructor.

    I read the announcements but have never taught outside of the USA. Several colleagues have and have had assignments for as little as 6 weeks and as much as 2 years. Not one has regretted the experience.

    Begin with deciding which country you'd like to go to, google your ESL/TELF/TESL work search for the area, research the customs and culture, have your passport ready, go through the application process. I think you'll have no trouble at all finding work.
