I have been teaching Kindergarten for 3 years and found out that my position was cut :( I have been applying to every school around the area that is hiring. My problem is that I have not had a serious interview in 3 plus years. yikes! I have an interview on Tuesday with my #1 choice and would LOVE to have this job but now I am worried about what the questions will be. Does anyone have any questions that they think or know someone might ask me? Thanks a million!! :)

  1. Make sure you can ask an intelligent question about the school/district where you are interviewing.  Do some research to uncover new initiatives, test score info etc.

    Good luck!!!!!

What can you do for a student who is academicaly, socially and emotionaly behind?

Name a word that best describes you?

Has another teacher ever borrowed a lesson from you?  What was it?

What was the last professional book/article you read?

  3. the first question always asked is Tell me about yourself? Another important question is, What can you contribute to our campus? Also, Why did u choose this school district?
