Teaching The Systems of the Body?

A teacher in my building does a really clever unit on body systems.  She puts the kids in groups and gives them research materials (articles, books, kid encyclopedias, etc) and has them research and write a skit on their assigned body system that they then perform for the class.

Each group is learning about a different system, so as they do their skits, the entire class ends up learning about the entire human body.

When I taught body systems, I actually used a series of videos and questions.  I don't recall the name of the videos, but they were designed for kids and actually came with sample questions.  Then, after the video series and  questions (I think there were 5 videos) kids could then to do a "mini" report on the human body.  They could pick a question and research their answer, then share it with the class in a poster.  Set up a body museum and the class went around to learn about everyone's point of view.

Both of the above activities can be done within a 2 week time frame, if needed.  Of course, more time would be better!
