  1. I know lots of people with a degree who also teach English abroad and their English spelling and grammar is really bad - so I wouldn't worry about what the first responder said.   Yeah, it stinks doesn't it?

I don't have a degree and my English is excellent.  I teach here in the UK, but have been told (like you) that I'll probably need a degree to teach abroad.  However, the degree is usually needed to adhere to some countries visa restrictions.  I don't know where you are, but have been told that because I'm in the UK I should not have a problem working in Europe without a degree.

Check on the websites www.tefl.com and also Google "Dave's ESL Cafe" for more information about teaching English abroad.

    Good luck.

  2. I hate to tell you, but your spelling and grammar makes me feel sorry for whomever you would be teaching.  LOL

I am pretty sure you would be hard pressed to find any teaching opportunity without a bachelor's degree.  However, there are other things you could do.  Most countries allow you to stay for a year with a "work visa".  You need to pick a country first, and then look into the specific regulations for that country.

There are organizations that advertise jobs in foreign countries.  Try googling for one.
