Question:

Teaching at a boarding school?

I have decided that I am going to become a high school English and Literature teacher. However, I am adamant that I will not teach at a public school. I would prefer teaching at a boarding school rather than simply a private school. The school I am most interested in is The Putney School. Does anybody know what it takes to be hired at a boarding school? (extra degrees, certifications, etc...)

  1. Don't become a teacher. No one likes teachers.

You will be hated by many, maaaany people.

    Edit:

    Nothing makes me think that.

I am a teacher and I will always regret for becoming one.

I was always fair with all students, no matter what, but still, I always felt hated and unappreciated.

I am sorry if I offended you. I guess it is my fault for having such a boring life.

I wish you the best of luck in your career :)
