Teaching certification in music?

I am getting teacher certified in music. However, I am worring that there maybe a depression and music will be cancelled out of schools. Do you think I should continue to get certified in music? Thanks.

I don't think music will be removed from schools.  Research shows how much music can help develop patterns in the brain that help students with learning other subjects, so it's a major plus to have a music program in schools.
