Teaching degree in NSW recognised in other states?

I am just wondering whether a teaching degree that was obtained in NSW would be recognised in other states such as Queensland or WA?

I know the structures are different in each state, but what extra do you have to do to get the teaching qualification in other states?

I think you will find that there are some differences between states- you should check with the Education Dept in the other states to make sure you have the right combination of subjects to get registration there. When I was studying B Ed in NSW those of us who wanted to teach in Vic or Qld were advised to take particular electives to ensure we could be registered.

Yeah of course it would be - I know stacks of people I went to uni with who did either Bachelors of Teaching or D Ed's and yeah a number of them are teaching both interstate now and even overseas...they studied in VIC
