  1. I have got a CELTA (certificate in English language teaching to Adults)issued by Cambridge University. I attended a local college studying in the evening.  This took about 8 months.  I passed and got a grade B.  I could have gone onto the books of many agencies to work abroad, but unfortunately I have children.  You could try and phone cambridge to find out where they are running their celta courses.  Also I do not have a degree, but you will be tested on your English grammar before being allowed onto the course.

    good luck !!

  2. Almost all countries (never mind employers) will require at least a degree. Check out if that's so in Egypt. If not the Cambridge University run CELTA course is the best course for someone starting a career in TEFL. They may require some sort of post high school diploma/degree to accept you. There are other courses advertised on the Net (eslcafe.com  TEFL.com etc), Tuesday's Guardian and The Times Educational Supplement.

  3. ur from england, thats cool, do u have a accent???
