Anything can be a teaching game, that includes songs, rhymes or stories, physical movement, ... anything.  Here are a few suggestions:  Head,shoulders,knees,& toes; 5 little monkeys; Where is Thumbkin?, The three little pigs,bears, etc.  Red Light, Green Light, Simon Says, etc.

If you are just looking for an activity, you can take a coffee can and cut a hole in the lid.  And then use juice or milk lids to put inside.  The children can count or sort by size and color.  Or make a book that they can match different objects to it, using different sized lids or colored animals, etc.
