Question:

Teaching in South Korea?!?

Thanks to everyone who answered my last post.

Was wondering if anyone can answer these questions:

Which city would you recommend teaching in in South Korea (I'm not keen on Seoul due to there being so many people)?

Can anyone recommend any schools to teach at or recruiting companies? Is it possible to find a contract which will allow you to take time off for Christmas? And, I have a degree in English Lit, but no formal qualification to teach, (and I have to say my knowledge of grammar is distinctly average), and I know that most jobs in South Korea don't require you to have any teaching qualifications, but do they give you enough training to be able to cope?

Thanks

  1. I recommend Seoul. Although there is a large amount of people in Seoul, Seoul is where most of the demand is at. Also, most of the rich people live in Seoul, so there will be more profit.
