Teaching left handed children letter formation

Question

How do you teach a left handed child letter formation? Right handed letter formation seems very difficult for a left handed child.

*Do know of any free printable worksheets?

Hold their hand to show them.  They'll do it the write way, it just looks awkward!

Tracer pages to the rescue:  4 year-olds will be  writing their name in no time.

There is a fantastic printing/cursive program called Handwriting Without Tears.  We implemented it in my school 4 years ago.  I teach grade 2/3.  No one would be able to tell my lefties from my righties.  I highly recommend looking into it.
