Teaching mathematics?

I am really good at mathematics but have one year at university would i be able to teach it or do something with it to earn money as i am really short of cash and need a job urgently?

  1. google "private tutor" and the name of the town you live in and see what the e local agencies say.

    If you are short of cash then you should apply to your university's Access to Learning fund.

    All universities have them and final year students get priority because a lot of uni's don't want you working in your final year.


  2. There are several factors that you need to consider. First, does your state allow those without teacher certificates to teach? Also, you probably have enough of the basics down to understand the material but do you feel like you could patiently explain a problem to a student in several different ways, or only the way in which you were taught? And teaching is not something to enter into lightly, you can't just quit when you're frustrated. So if you are looking for something temporary, teaching isn't it. You might want to check in with some tutoring services in your area, they can be pretty lucrative as well. Hope this helps. :)
